In this week's episode, we're getting properly stuck in with some major updates to our 2025 VW Crafter self-build campervan conversion. You'll see the van start to feel like a real home as we begin lining it with Dodo thermal fleece, kindly supplied by James at Custom Veedubs. It's all about getting cosy! 🔥

We also reveal our clever IKEA bed hack! We're building a super-flexible, king-size sliding bed that gives us a massive sleeping area and a comfy 'U' shaped sofa space. We'll show you how we're using a combination of SKORVA beams, a METOD rail, and staggered wooden slats to create this unique and versatile layout. It's a game-changer for small-space living! 🛌
It's not all about the big stuff, though. We get into the nitty-gritty of the build, talking you through the trunking and trim protectors we're using to keep our electrical cables safe and sound as we prepare for the wiring. Safety first, always! ⚡

And for the moment you've all been waiting for... we have WINDOWS! While we were away for the weekend, we left our Crafter in the incredibly capable hands of Ian at Vanward, who fitted our new windows and an extractor fan. A massive thank you to Ian for not only doing a brilliant job but also for capturing some epic timelapse footage for us! We'll give you a full tour of the new glass, originally from Leisure Vehicle Windows, and show you how they work. The van is finally starting to look like a camper! 😍
