Historic Journey, Modern Cause: The Queen Eleanor Epic Cycle Ride

Описание: Although Queen Eleanor died over 700 years ago her legacy lives on. In today's episode, Wendy and I join 25 riders and their supporters on the first leg of their 200 mile cycle ride to raise funds to support London's rough sleepers. The route follows the path of Queen Eleanor's funeral cortege from Harby near Lincoln to her final resting place in Westminster Abbey. From Steampunks in Lincoln, the Quakers who provided refreshment for this band of pilgrims, to the tomb in Lincoln Cathedral, this ride had it all.
