"If the "Well Kept Secret" and "Seduction" albums had been more successful in Germany and the USA, perhaps James Last should has composed differently from then on. Who knows how his career should has developed? Perhaps it would have shifted more towards America. Perhaps he should has been finished long ago."
"The music sound completely different from the other James Last albums. The album called "Well Kept Secret" contained eight numbers, ranging from a very funky version of Ravel´s "Bolero" through Cole Porter´s "Love for sale" to the gentle Moody Blues hit "Question"."
"From the German market, on the other hand, it was too "jazzy": The public there expected more popular styles from him. "Well Kept Secret" has now achieved cult status in record exchanges and on Internet auction platforms. In 1977, was also released in the USSR under the title: "Big Secret!"."
