Описание: It took a long time for Rosy McEwen to accept that all she really wanted to be was an actor. As a child, Rosy loved performing in her school productions and even attended a casting call for the part of Briony in Atonement aged 13, making it down to the last two. But then teenage life took over, and Rosy started putting her desired career off, heading to university to study something entirely different. By her third year, she realised it was time to give it a go and consequently enrolled in Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.

Rosy started out in theatre, including with the RSC, before landing her first onscreen role in the second season of The Alienist (2020), followed by mini-series Close to Me (2021). Fellow Breakthrough Georgia Oakley then picked her to play the lead in Blue Jean (2022), where she delivered a truly engrossing and nuanced performance as a teacher struggling with her identity. The film earned Rosy a BIFA win and two further nominations, as well as a place on ScreenDaily’s Stars of Tomorrow 2022 list.
