A simple Sugar syrup is used for adding moisture and little sweetness to the cake.
Ingredients :
1. Sugar - 1/2 cup
2. Water - 1/2 cup
Instructions:
1. In a pan, add Sugar and Water. The ratio of Sugar to Water is always 1:1.
2. Heat it on medium flame.
3. Stir to dissolve the sugar and bring it to a boil.
4. Now simmer for 2 minutes, without stirring.
5. Remove from the heat, and cool to room temperature.
6. Once cooled down, store it in an airtight container and refrigerate it for up to a month.
