Not only is the region of Binsar famous for its wildlife sanctuary, it is a destination of religious importance as well. The entry charges at Wildlife Century gate are Rs. 150/- per person plus Rs. 250/- for tourist cab, that is to be paid to Forest Department at the time of arrival at wildlife century entrance gate. One can pass the century gate between Sunrise in the morning up to sunset in the evening. KMVN TRH is situated at a distance of 11 kms from the Binsar Wildlife Century gate. There are many temples located in and around Binsar, including the Kasar Devi temple and the Bineshwar Mahadev temple. The Bineshwar mahadev temple is a beautifully constructed site and the temple is dedicated to the main deity Lord Shiva. The Kasar Devi temple, on the other hand, is dedicated to a local goddess Kasar Devi. You can also visit zero point, Almora andKathgodam during your trip to Binsar.
