【満開：淀・河津桜】・Mar 15 2026

Описание: 2026年3月15日。京都・伏見区、淀城跡にもほど近い「淀水路」を訪れました。
京阪電鉄「淀駅」から閑静な住宅街を歩くこと約15分。目の前に広がるのは、水路沿い約1.1kmにわたって咲き誇る約200本の満開の河津桜です。

【淀の河津桜の歴史と見どころ】
この桜並木は、2002年に地元の住人たちが「地域を花でいっぱいにしたい」という願いを込めて、伊豆の河津町から苗木を譲り受け、植樹したのが始まりです。今では京都を代表する早咲き桜の名所となりました。
見どころは、水路にせり出すように咲くボリュームのある花びらと、運が良ければ出会えるメジロとの共演です。普段着で、ふらりと散歩しながら楽しめる「気楽な花見」にぴったりの場所です。

京阪本線「淀駅」下車、南出口から徒歩約15分。

淀城跡を通り抜け、閑静な住宅街を進むルートがおすすめです。

March 15, 2026. We visited the "Yodo Waterway" near the ruins of Yodo Castle in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto.
A pleasant 15-minute walk from Keihan Railway's "Yodo Station" leads you to a breathtaking sight: approximately 200 Kawazu Cherry Blossoms in full bloom, stretching for 1.1km along the waterway.

[History and Highlights]
The history of these cherry blossoms began in 2002, when local residents planted saplings gifted from Kawazu Town in Izu, hoping to fill their neighborhood with flowers. Today, it has become one of Kyoto’s most famous spots for early-blooming cherry blossoms.
The highlight is the dense, vibrant pink petals leaning over the water, and the sight of small "Mejiro" (Japanese White-eye) birds flitting between the branches. It is the perfect spot for a "casual hanami," where you can enjoy the spring breeze in your everyday clothes.

A 15-minute walk from the South Exit of "Yodo Station" on the Keihan Main Line.

The route through the ruins of Yodo Castle and the quiet residential area is highly recommended.
