The start of our retirement adventure. On 4 September 2023, after many years of sailing on the West Coast of Scotland, we were now living aboard our Island Packet 420 and setting sail from Oban, Scotland, and hoping to sail down to the Canary Islands and then across the Atlantic Ocean by the end of the year. So, hopefully this adventure will take us to the Caribbean Islands.
In this episode we describe our original passage plans and then why we had to divert to Plymouth.
