Charge and Discharge Batteries with B&K Precision's Battery Test Software

Описание: This is a tutorial that will show how to use the B&K Precision Battery Test Software to charge and discharge batteries while also data logging. The software can also be used to condition batteries.

First, we demonstrate how we charge a battery with our 9200 series power supply. During our test, it will continually log data over time and show its current state. Afterwards, it will be timestamp accordingly.

Next, we demonstrate how we discharge a battery with our 8600 series DC load. We use a cutoff voltage to prevent damage to the battery and demonstrate the test for amp hour capacity.

Finally, we show the sequence test program, where you can set many parameters, charge and discharge batteries, run sequences, test amp hour capacity and battery condition.

Our simulation in the sequence test includes:
1. Charge Battery up to 13.7 V at 2 A for 2 hours.
2. Discharge Battery at .2 A wth a Voltage stop condition (10.4 V).
3. Charge Battery again at 13.7 V.
