Metal Slug 5 (2003) by Noise Factory and SNK Playmore is already the fifth installment of the legendary run and gun game series known to every self-respecting gamer.
Hmm... We honestly have a problem commenting on this game because MS5 does not surpass the previous installments of the series in any way.
It is a standard experience of what we could expect from the previous parts, only without the spectacular nature. Game rather surprises with nothing, it is just another cut-off coupon.
Of course, this does not mean that MS5 is bad, but simply that with this form, without any major innovations or spectacular features, the game is no longer as attractive as it used to be.
MS5 is still very playable and all, but you can feel that something is missing here.
It's a bit as if the developers have run out of fresh ideas to refresh the series.
Maybe we're nitpicking, but in our opinion, this is the most boring part of the series and a bit of a disappointment.
It's just an average game that you can play without any problems, but nothing extraordinary that you would remember for years.
