Do you have Back Pain or feel uncomfortable after or during a kettlebell swing?
I see a lot of people performing this exercise incorrectly by swinging the weight (dumbbell or kettlebell) too far away from their body causing too much stress on the low back and not allowing their glutes and hamstrings to do the majority of the work. If that is you then definitely try these tips next time you perform a KB or DB Swing.
TIPS:
1️⃣ Start with the weight about 6 inches away from you to allow for a natural starting Swing.
2️⃣ Cradle the weight between your hips and hinge right as the weight Swings down
3️⃣ Thrust your hips forward and keep your arms bent as it comes up (I like to think of this as T-Rex arms 😉)
