This song is from a faith tradition and can totally be embraced as a song of faith. It can also be experienced as an expression of the joy, hope and optimism that comes from loving and accepting one another and creating a fair and just community.
However you hear this song, I hope it brings you the powerful sense that you can experience peace like a river, joy like a fountain and love like the ocean even in the most difficult times.
This was truly an international project. I worked with a producer in Kenya to create the new sound for this well-known song. The art is from a young artist in Belarus and the animator is Ukrainian. All of us have added our talent to this song in hopes it inspires kids with the message that peace is possible and we can all make a difference in this world!
