Freespace 2: Inferno - The Scourge of God

Описание: This is the thirty-second and (for now) final mission of the brand new re-release of Inferno (formerly known as Inferno Nostos). Freshly voice acted with a release date of Christmas Eve, to my knowledge this is the first public upload on YouTube. The year is 2399, and we portray a pilot of the 74th Templars space superiority squadron stationed aboard the GTD Ctestiphon, Special Operations Command. With the withdrawal from Sol complete and the Earth Alliance bottled up by the Sol jump gate, we now turn our attention to the Shivans. A faint EA distress signal has been detected in Ross 128, and we are assigned to investigate, hoping for more information about their Project Attila. The Vasudan AWACS, GVA Wadjet, is assigned to track the signal, escorted by the GVCv Resheph and GVC Khopesh. Flying the experimental GTF Vali, a prototype fighter incorporating Shivan components that GTVI believes will cause the Shivans to identify the fighters as some of their own. Our initial tasking is to ensure the safety of the Wadjet and her escorting components while she triangulates the signal and then to jump to the distress signal's location in Ross 128 to find out what we can. This is a recon mission, and evasion and intelligence gathering are paramount.
