Former Utah Governor Gary Herbert has concerns about Utah courts

Описание: The 2026 Utah legislative session gets underway this week and former Utah governor Gary Herbert joined ARC Salt Lake to discuss the session.

Top priorities for Utah will be education and infrastructure, which is usually the case. One area that the former governor has a concern over is the judiciary system. He wants the lower courts of Utah issues addressed before adding to the Supreme Court in Utah. Also, says it shouldn't matter what political party a judge is, their job is to interpret the law as it is written.
