This Friday is the 40th anniversary of the death of China's Mao Zedong.
Mao is seen as a revolutionary hero by some, while others blame him for the deaths of tens of millions of people in famine and political purges.
In Australia, two concerts planned in celebration of his life have been cancelled after protests by Chinese Australians.
