MEC NOMAGUGU SIMELANE TO TABLE KZN HEALTH BUDGET SPEECH FOR 2025/26
Focus on Strengthening Primary Health Care and Combating the Burden of Disease
KwaZulu-Natal MEC for Health, Nomagugu Simelane, will deliver the Provincial Health Budget Speech for the 2025/2026 financial year, the second under the Seventh Administration, at the KwaZulu-Natal Legislature in Pietermaritzburg on Tuesday.
The MEC will today outline the Department’s strategic priorities aimed at strengthening primary health care, advancing universal health coverage, and accelerating efforts to eradicate the province’s high burden of disease, including HIV, TB, non-communicable diseases, and maternal and child health challenges.
