Do you remember what you were taught about STIs in either grade school, high school, or college? All I remember hearing was that you do not want to get an STI and if you have one, no one will ever want you. In a lot of ways, people attempted to scare me with STIs so that I wouldn't have sex, ever.

I missed out on a lot of the basic facts about STIs and treatment. But, when I found out how easy they are to be tested and treated for, I was left wondering why no one just told me the truth. As long as you catch them early, they aren't the end of the world. But do you know what to look for? And, if you have a symptom that goes away, it doesn't mean the STI has too.

In this episode, I cover the basics on three very common bacterial STIs, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis.
