[4K] A Day in Mojave – Up Close With the L-1011 and More

Описание: In early January, we (family) flew out to California to visit the Mojave Air and Space Port. Luckily, Plane Crazy Saturday, the Mojave Air and Space Port's monthly fly-in, happened to be the day we visited, and there were lots of neat things going on there. The J-3 Cub flight was great, such an amazing airplane. Big thanks to Steve for taking me on a flight. For some context for the L-1011, my grandfather drew plans for, and worked on, the L-1011 back in the 70's. The L-1011 was a plane I'd always wanted to see, and I knew my grandfather would love to see one again.


I did blur my family and me out of videos/pictures for privacy. And don't show up to the Mojave Air and Space Port and just expect to get up close with the Stargazer. We coordinated everything in advance, especially seeing the L-1011. We were only able to get access due to my family's connection to Lockheed and the TriStar. It does show up at some airshows in California though.
