Connecticut Adventure Bucket List | Scratching Off My First Adventure | Ep. 1

Описание: Connecticut is full of hidden gems, local experiences, and places most people never explore. In this new series, I’m using a Connecticut Adventure Bucket List scratch-off card set to discover unique adventures all across the state.

Each card reveals a mystery activity somewhere in Connecticut. I scratch the card, reveal the adventure, and then go experience it in a future episode.

In this first episode, we reveal the very first adventure card and find out where in Connecticut we’re headed.

The results were not exactly what I expected!

One option involved a horse drawn carriage ride on Lake Hayward in East Haddam (unfortunately closed for the season), and another pointed us toward one of Connecticut’s most iconic landmarks, Gillette Castle State Park.

Even though the castle tours are not open until Memorial Day weekend, this adventure is officially on the list and we’ll be returning soon to explore it.
