'Otis' is a departure from the pop style Brian McFadden is known for, giving him a chance to really show his amazing vocal talents and explore Soul - a style of music he’s incredibly passionate about. Although an accomplished songwriter, Brian decided that for his first foray into recording within the Soul genre, he should work with some of the greatest material out there and has re-worked songs from Otis Reading of whom he’s a big fan. Mica Paris provides guest vocals on the track 'Angel', which was written by Otis Redding and had been performed by Aretha Franklin. Many other special guests - including Andrew Strong - feature on the album, which was produced and scored by Danny McCormack.
