This pen just came in for repair. A Senator President, bearing resemblance of an MB149 (size-wise), a piston filler, and in my own opinion, a good writer, quite a beautiful pen. This particular model sports a 18kt gold nib, the pen itself made from plastic (acrylic, I suspect).
It has two large cracks, running from the nib section lip towards the threaded section, with one of the cracks actually crossing over the threads.
