To disable ABS on V-Strom, follow below steps.
1. Normally start the engine and ride for some time, until the ABS light goes off in the dial.
2. Stop the motorcycle only with the kill switch and don't turn off the key.
3. Load the motorcycle into the center stand.
4. Make sure the rear wheel can freely rotate.
5. Turn on the engine.
6. Pull the front brake lever and gear to 1st then 2nd until ABS light flashes again.
Now the ABS is disabled until you turn off the key.
