"You must always remember: All phenomena arise from the mind. When our mindset is kind, when our mindset is compassionate, it will attract beautiful trees and flowers, mountains and rivers. Everything becomes beautiful.

Comparing the Pure Land with our world - why is their world so wonderful? For no other reason: That world's residents are all virtuous people gathered together. Isn't that the simple truth? Now let's consider our Earth today. It's exactly the opposite... Our Earth is where the most evil people gather. Every thought is about harming others for self-benefit. How can this be sustainable?

Sacred teachings have been abandoned, called superstition. The teachings of sages are dismissed as outdated, unscientific and therefore rejected. Without any restraint, people freely commit wrongdoings. Ethics can no longer regulate behavior. Even laws cannot regulate you. Governments can't control you. Even emperors would be helpless against you... So what happens in the end? In the end, the mountains, rivers and earth become angry and seek revenge. What can you do about it?

Therefore when we carefully study these Mahayana teachings, understanding all the causes and effects clearly, everything becomes clear. For sentient beings' collective karma, there's no solution. Even if we explain, they won't listen. But we still teach every day. The Buddha saves those with affinity. We use television, use the internet, and at this moment, those who tune into this channel are those with affinity.

Once they truly understand, they turn their hearts toward goodness and no longer dare to do evil. If others treat me badly, I won't mind. I'll forgive them. I shouldn't oppose them. If I oppose them, it creates a cycle of grievances. Never-ending retaliation is not good. Better to let it all go. How liberating this is! Those who slander me, those who insult me, those who harm me... I let go of all of it. They are all Buddhas. They are all my benefactors. Why is that? They help me reduce my karmic obstacles. It's a good thing! It elevates my spiritual state.

In favorable circumstances, with good conditions, not giving rise to greed. In adversity and bad conditions, not harboring resentment. Always maintaining purity, equality, and awareness. This is spiritual elevation. This is continuous progress. Continuously rising... Therefore they are bodhisattvas manifesting these situations to help me improve.

If you cannot handle favorable circumstances, you will develop greed, and in difficult situations, you harbor anger. Then those people become demons to you. Why is that? They send you to hell. Are there really Buddhas and demons out there? No! It's our one thought. With the right attitude, they are all Buddhas. But with a negative attitude, resenting them, they all become demons. So in reality, there are neither Buddhas nor demons. It's all our own good and evil thoughts. When our good thoughts arise, all are Buddhas. When evil thoughts arise, all are demons. Demons are not outside. They are in your mind!

When we approach the Dharma daily, when we study the Dharma daily, the entire universe is full of Buddhas. Not a single demon is seen. If you depart from the Dharma and learn from this society, in today's television with killing and violence... Violence and sensuality - if you learn from them, then everything you experience becomes demonic. You must understand this principle.

After truly understanding this, our mindset returns to normal. Mountains, rivers, earth, all beings are nothing but Buddhas, bodhisattvas, and arhats. Where is the Pure Land? Right here!
