HOW MY MOM FELT ABOUT ME MARRYING A BLACK GIRL

Описание: For the first time in a long time, we have a Simas’ mom joining us as a guest on our videos! Today, the conversation will be in a q&a format but mostly about how my mom felt about me marrying a black woman from Jamaica. At the time, this would be more or less how my mom feels about my girlfriend, who happens to be a black girl.

Avri is the one asking the questions, so you won’t see much of her but Simas’ mom aka good gyal Esma is handling all the questions. We started with Lithuania, where Simas’ family came from, then moved on to life in Trenton, NJ, the first place where Simas’ family lived in since moving to the US.

Eventually, we moved into more personal questions: Simas’ interracial dating history, why he chose a black wife, how many girls he’s dated and so much more. We also learn how Simas’ family in Lithuania and Sweden thought about our marriage too. There aren’t too many Lithuanian-Jamaican couples out there.

Interracial marriage is not very common in Lithuania because there are not many foreigners living in Lithuania, especially from outside of Europe. Seeing people that are black or darker complexion is still fairly unusual in some parts of Lithuania. However, with the economy and freedom rising extremely rapidly, more and more people from all over the world are moving to the Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia). Things are rapidly changing and the population is becoming more and more diverse.

Some people also asked questions about Simas family: is he an only child? Why is he an only child? Why did you come to live in the US? What was the situation like in Lithuania then vs now? So many questions, so little time! Maybe we will have to make a part 2 of this video. This is a part of our international interracial family vlog! It's family-friendly and educational about our life abroad in the US.
