I’ve seen the way she talks about him, how her entire expression changes when she gets a message from him. I tried to tune it out and focus on the excitement of planning our wedding, but now I can’t unsee it. I’m starting to believe she doesn’t truly love me—that maybe she’s saying yes to me not out of genuine affection, but because of the financial stability and security I provide. For context, I’m in a good place financially. I have a well-paying job, and I’ve been covering most of the costs for our future plans together.
