Description:

The protagonist, Cain/Abelle, is an ex-knight who is disillusioned with their old profession because of the ruling class's seemingly pointless war against the Demon Queen. When they hear the Kingdom of Amarcia plans to use the Holy Sword Farewell to slay the Demon Queen this time, the protagonist decides to find her first in order to get answers about the conflict and her purpose.

The boss can use a wind ailment that kills the victim the moment it is cured or expires. I think this battle is more about aggro management, in that you want the boss to extend the ailment on certain party members. You can also make use of Kanna's Blessing buff, but you still have to worry about cooldowns.

You'll have to solve a simple puzzle to unlock the boss room. If you have the sword Almace, the protagonist realizes that the Demon Queen's name is also Almace and that she is an ally of Illuminate. The protagonist also anticipates Solomos's betrayal and strikes at him to put him on the defensive.

If you fail to kill him before his 3rd combo, he will deal so much multihit damage that even a party wide auto-rez won't save you.

If you're having trouble, you'll just have to grind until you're confident in winning the DPS check. With Almace's OP abilities, it should be possible even on Nightmare at level 17 or higher.

Solomos escapes and gains access to the Black Ark, and we must chase him so that he doesn't misuse the Akashic Records. Still, it's crazy that even an Apostle like Almace is struggling against Solomos. I'm guessing that she's one of the weakest of her kind, which still makes her OP by the standards of the natives of Miltiades.

Thanks to Almace and that one item I got from Lorence, I am now strong enough to do a 0 Risk/Protection run for the Hall of Beginnings somewhat consistently. This massively increases my grinding potential.

I tried to avoid risk bonuses that increase the enemies' DPS. That way, I still have some control over the flow of battle. Note that winning at high Risk means you get all previous Risk rewards too.

One thing that really helps is putting Limit Breaker and Pure Onyx on the protagonist. I think this kind of setup could help other characters too because of the large speed boost, but it costs 16000 per character to set this up.
