As part of our ongoing partnership with Great Britain Rugby 7s, we attended one of the country's biggest celebrations of amateur sevens rugby, at the Lloyds 7s Rugby Tournament in Richmond.
Due to the success of their showcase last year, Caroline Henzell and Joss Linney created Women In The City 7s (WIC7s). WIC7s is a club that encourages any female professionals – with no experience or with rugby skills – to join in whenever they're able to practice and play rugby sevens.
Three teams participated in a women's exhibition tournament at Lloyds 7s – and GB7s female players and coaches trained and 'guest coached' the teams too!
