October 21-25, 2019, is Bus Safety Week, and the theme is "My School Bus, The Safest Form of Student Transportation!"
Did you know in Iowa, 240,000 students are transported daily by an Iowa school bus?
And did you know, last year there were 285 reported Iowa school bus violations? These reported violations mean hundreds of Iowa children were unnecessarily put at risk by Iowa drivers.
These kids are our future - they are someone's son, daughter, brother, sister, grandchild, or possibly someone you know.
Extend school bus etiquette and step on the vehicle brake until our future generation has stepped over the curb safely.
