How to Update the Sims 4 on Origin With Mods & CC (Mac) In Description

Описание: Today I'm going to show you how I update the Sims 4 game on Origin while having mods and custom content. Always wait for the "all clear" from mod developers to make sure the mods aren't broken from the patch/update. It's hard to wait, but it's better than having a broken game!

BACK UP YOUR SAVES!

1. Remove mods folder to desktop
2. Open origin , you MUST be online
3. Go to game library and to the Sims 4
4. Right-click on the Sims 4 game and select "update"
5. Game will then update
6. Open the Sims 4 WITHOUT MODS
7. Check that custom content and script mods are enabled under game options
8. Save changes if the mod button was unchecked!
9. Exit completely out of the game
10. Move mods folder back to the Sims 4 folder and delete the new mod folder that the game loaded for you
11. Open the Sims 4 again after the mods and cc have been put back
12. Check that the mods and cc have loaded up, and you're good to go!
13. PLAY!
