This watchmaking vlog episode 28 is about starting to re-make the balance wheel bridge from scratch for my watch, which is based on a modified ETA 6498 movement.
I left off from the previous episode, and enlarged the center punch marks. Then I drilled the holes required for the alignment pins, screw and balance wheel jewel in the bridge.
I then turn down some alignment pins for the balance wheel bridge of my watch, which are friction fit, and insert them.
I use the watchmakers wax chuck in the cowells cw90 watchmakers lathe, to center the balance wheel bridge on the lathe to create the countersink for the screw.
