This week’s Top Tip Tuesday showcases Data Mapping, in the creation of a stylistic fluid sim, with particle fluids appearing to melt and then solidify. Particle color is controlled using an animated noise and the color value is used to map the effects of wind and speed modifiers. The simulation is then art-directed by making adjustments to the fluid properties, such as Surface Tension.
