After getting food poisoning 2.5 years ago, I finally got a diagnosis recently for SIBO (small intestinal bacterial overgrowth) so I decided to do the Physician's Elemental Diet in the hope to get rid of it. If you suffer from gut problems, severe bloating, IBS, leaky gut, chronic illness or any other stomach issues, find out what it was like as I embarked on the gut healing process by doing the elemental diet.

In this gut healing protocol, I didn't eat anything for 26 days and just drank a liquid powder mixed with water to starve off the gut bacteria. It was a rollercoaster of an experience and I tried to keep it as raw as possible to help prepare anyone else looking to heal their gut.
