145. Learn Blender - part 1 - Intro and info (you might not know) and downloading

Описание: I am VERY excited to introduce my new video series about learning Blender (the free 3D creation suite). These videos are intended for absolute beginners. If you are interested in learning to draw and /or animate in 3D using a free (zero dollars forever!), very powerful program, then I hope you will enjoy my series: Learn Blender (with me)..

In this Introduction video, I explain how I came to get very excited about learning Blender. I also talk about other drawing programs that I have used (on my channel) and have been very successful with (LibreCAD and SketchUP). By the end of this video, you'll understand how I got to where I am and WHY I want to learn Blender (and what I want to be able to do with it).

It is important for me to know the WHY. Knowing why I'm doing something (like learning Blender) gives me a goal and helps to keep me on the right track toward achieving that goal.

My immediate goal to get "good enough" with Blender is so that I can visualize my ideas in 3D which then might inspire me to make something. (I tend to build things out of wood or cardboard; skim through the list of videos on my channel to find examples.)

And by the way, you may have noticed that my videos are all numbered. The numbering shows the chronological order in which I made them (#1 was the very first video, #2 the second, and so forth). Sometimes, I make various videos on the same topic, one right after the other (like the Blender videos) so the video numbers are all consecutive. And other times, I make several videos (like the videos removing a car tire from a rim) with other videos made in between, so the video numbers for the tire removal videos are non-consecutive.

When I do make several videos on the same topic, I try to place all of those videos into a playlist to make them easier for you to find.

I hope enjoy the videos and hopefully, learn something from them.
