FRISCO BEACH, NORTH CAROLINA: Erosion continues with the coastal system. Crews have stacked sand up on highway 12 as the low pressure system continues to develop and strengthen off of the Carolina coastline. Kite surfers are taking advantage of the situation and bands produce high winds giving perfect conditions for them to enjoy some surfing on the sound side of Hatteras Island. Large piles of sand can still be seen as dunes as this storm begins to crank.
