It is the 50th Anniversary of these iconic buses.
Workington Transport Heritage Trust have organised this 2 day bus event over the weekend of 30th April - 1st May 2022 at Whitehaven in Cumbria with free rides to former factory of these buses in Lillyhall, a town tour and to park & Ride site at Lakes College.
This features touring around the former factory on the bus (passengers generally aren't allowed to get off the bus at the site & only few people have pre-booked for photoshoot at the site of all Nationals attended at the rally), static buses, and drive offs.
