One of my viewers sent me 4 films to scan. This is part of a 3 part series exploring things that require special cameras or other tricks to see. This film was on non-fade film so it's beautiful. I've scanned all 3 but this one gave me a lot of trouble trying to get stable. I actually had to divide it in 3 parts to get good tracking. It came out beautifully but has taken a long time to get there. Written by Isaac Asimov and narrated by Eddie Albert (Green Acres), and totally NOT color corrected.
The film was scanned with The Gugusse Roller. This is a DIY film scanner project that was built using a 3D Printer.
