We’re both headed to The Brandywine Festival, the first officially licensed Lord Of The Rings LARP set in the cozy Shire, and I wanted to surprise Kit with something handmade for his hobbit character. So I sewed a custom vest, inspired by his “Mathom Hunting” backstory and all the charming details and trinkets that he collects.

This project is full of rustic vibes, thrifted materials, slow stitching, and that sweet blend of hobbitcore, fantasy crafting, and character-inspired design that I love so much. Whether you’re into LARP costumes, Tolkien-inspired aesthetics, sewing for cosplay, or just love wholesome surprises between creators, I hope this one brings a smile because I had the best time!
