The first day of March started out mostly gloomy with mild temperatures. With nothing to do at home, I made my way trackside for a couple trains. In this video, we focus on some rural railfanning locations near the Southern Illinois town of Bluford. First, we see a colorful CN freight train heading south on their Bluford Subdivision, commonly known as the Edgewood Cutoff. Shortly after, a long NS Atlanta-bound intermodal train crests Marlow Hill just west of Bluford. NS 4851, the Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia Railway (TA&G) heritage locomotive can be seen in the consist.
