On December 23, 2022, the IRS announced that the calendar year 2022 is a transition year for the reporting changes to 1099-K thresholds.
The previous standard of $20,000 in gross payments and 200 transactions will remain for 2022, rather than the reduced reporting threshold of $600 and no transaction number minimum. This is good news for taxpayers...
