Each alarm in the list changes its label from “Normal” to “Alarm” when triggered, shifts its position for visual emphasis, and displays a blinking exclamation mark to draw attention. You’ll learn how to control visibility and position of screen elements using variables and selectors, implement blinking effects with timers, and build clean, modular alarm logic. This approach is simple, scalable, and effective for real-world monitoring. Expand it to as many alarms as you need and customize it for your application.

ALP is a programming environment for creating algorithms for akYtec PR100, PR102, PR103, PR200, PR205 programmable relays and akYtec SMI200 programmable compact controller. The algorithm is created in the FBD function block language using ready-made components or using ST-language (structured text).
