Police in Michigan discover woman giving birth in car after screams

Описание: A Southwest Michigan couple’s plan to go to the hospital for the birth of their second child changed in minutes when their baby arrived before they could even make it out of their apartment complex.

Jessiah and Victory Short from Portage said their son, Sire, was born in the backseat of their car on Monday, Feb. 2, just as police arrived to investigate reports of a woman screaming in the parking lot.

Jessiah said he was on the phone with 911 when the baby began to emerge.

Then, Victory said she told her husband he would need to rip open her jumpsuit and help deliver the baby.

Meanwhile, officers from the Portage Department of Public Safety were already on their way to the scene.
