Mosaic Artist Rachel Davies Creates Small Mosaic Art Inspired by Nature

Описание: Watch as I create a small mosaic inspired by the patterns of lichen growing on a rock near the coast. This abstract mosaic design was created using some shell fragments, along with various types of stone, glass and slate. The pieces are individually cut and set into a bed of pigmented tile adhesive (also known as thinset).

The mosaic was created as part of an art challenge to create a series of small mosaics inspired by images from nature. The mosaic measures 2.5x3.5 inches.
