Worlds biggest Mega Sorter - Astroneer

Some extra explanation:
The holding area platforms (the empty tall storages in the line) have a storage sensor sent to empty or not empty, and a count repeater set to 1 of 2. This makes it so the count repeater only triggers on 2/2 which will be when the platform is NOT empty only. When an item gets put on that platform the storage sensor triggers the count repeater to go 2/2 which triggers 2 things for the next auto arm down the line. It turns the next auto arm OFF, and triggers a delay repeater set to 15 which triggers the same arm back ON after that delay.

This gives your filtered arms a chance to grab the right item, and if it doesnt, the next arm down the line keeps it moving after that 15 delay.

It's important that only 1 item ever gets put on a platform at once, so its also important that they are fed into the line at the same speed they move down the line (15 tick delay). This can be done by linking the count and delay repeaters from the first holding platform to the next auto arm in the line like usual AND the first auto arm that came before it. If the first auto arm places something on the platform it shuts off the arms on both sides for 15, and then they both come on again. see this video for a video walk through    • delay gate explanation  

Tall Storage Sensor Bug:
There is a (now years old) bug with the tall platforms. If you try to attach a sensor to a tall platform that was placed in a previous session (placed platform, exited game, came back) it doesnt work until you pick up the tall platform and put it down again. For some reason the sensors just float in the air unless the platform has been moved during that session. Once its connected for real it will work even if you exit the game.
