At just 16, Bex continues to explore her love for animals and heritage through vibrant public art. This koi fish mural was created using a combination of spray paint and acrylic paints, showcasing her evolving technique and bold visual storytelling.
The koi fish—long associated with strength, perseverance, and transformation—reflects themes central to Bex’s creative journey as a young artist bridging cultures and generations through art.
This piece was painted as part of Multi Stories Southampton, an incredible event transforming a city centre car park into a multi-level gallery of street art. Featuring live painting, music, and community energy, it was a celebration of creativity that brought together some of the best local and national talent.
