Just Cause 3 - Tank Frenzy I destruction challenge - 5 gears completion tips

Today we’re back with another destruction challenge tips video, for 5 gears completion: This time we’ll be doing the “Tank Frenzy I” challenge.

For this challenge, we’ll have two tanks that we can use, and the base we need to destroy as much as we can is clearly divided into two main sections.

It’s important to note that the smaller military vehicles that are parked in the base count towards our score when destroyed, and of course renew our bonus multiplier counter, so pay good attention on the zones where these vehicles are, and then just shoot with the tank later, and hopefully the area damage will get them.

One of the ways I found to complete this challenge with 5 gears is the one I show in the video, just take one of the tanks and position it at some place where: 1) It’s close to the other tank; and 2) You can shoot one section of the base with it.

The way I do it in the video worked for me, but I’m sure there’re several possible variations, so feel free to experiment.

Once we’re done with one side of the base, instead of driving our current tank, we hop into the other one, as quickly as possible so we don’t lose the bonus. If done correctly, the 5 gears should be yours with no issues, but keep in mind that if you’re hunting for the best score you’ll have to work for it with perfect positioning and timing when switching tanks.
