PASEO NOCTURNO CDMX DIA DE MUERTOS MEXICO CITY | Chapultepec Castle and Anthropology Museum

Описание: Starting off the day in Chapultepec Park in Mexico City, it is one of the largest urban parks in the world. We visited Chapultepec Castle, which is referred to in the US Marine Corps Hymn - the Halls of Montezuma.

This beautiful castle was the location for the 1996 movie, Romeo and Juliet, starring Leonardo di Caprio. It is a stunning structure - we love the majestic balcony overlooking the Mexico City skyline!

We continued onto the National Museum of Anthropology - one of Mexico City's must see places! Unfortunately the famous Aztec Calendar gallery is under construction, but we still saw so many other important artifacts in this museum. Highly recommended!

Related to the Day of the Dead, the Paseo Nocturno Dia de Muertos happens every year. Thousands of cyclists and pedestrians flock into the Paseo de la Reforma - the major street of Mexico City. It is a huge Mexico City street party!

This night, the main spot for Mexico City nightlife is around the Angel of Independence statue, where a stage is set up with concerts, music, and lights. And yes, bikers are biking and partying. The Dia de Muertos in Mexico City is never a dull time!
