Check out the talented team from Randle House Removals using their TRT 4 axle ESS House Trailer at 3m wide with all axles steering to 35 degrees either side of centre. This house was 22.5m long x 9.3m wide.
Using the trailers hydraulic suspension that lifts to 2.7m, the trailer was able to lower down to 880mm and reverse under the house and drop the axles down into the basement to support the house and lift it off the jacks. A temporary ‘bridge’ was made so that the trailer could be pulled out of the basement. Again using the independent suspension legs lift and lower capabilities the trailer was able to manoeuvre the house off site.
It then travelled from Hamilton to Waihi through the Karangahake Gorge as the Kaimia’s were closed for road works.
