Kerala Blasters secured their first point of the Indian Super League after they snatched a late draw away from home to East Bengal. David Catala's men conceded a penalty after a foul by Aiban Dohling on Youssef Ezzejjari in the second half.
EB's leading goal-scorer Ezzejjari stepped up and converted the resulting spot-kick. However, the hosts failed to add to their advantage and were punished right at the end. KBFC academy stars Ebindas and Muhammad Ajsal combined from a corner to find the equaliser for the Blasters.
