गौरतलब है कि इस बार पश्चिम बंगाल में विधानसभा चुनाव दो चरणों में कराए जाएंगे। निर्वाचन आयोग के अनुसार मतदान 23 अप्रैल और 29 अप्रैल को होगा, जबकि चुनाव परिणाम 4 मई को घोषित किए जाएंगे।

राज्य में इस बार मुकाबला मुख्य रूप से तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) और बीजेपी के बीच होने की संभावना जताई जा रही है। बीजेपी ने बंगाल में अपनी पकड़ मजबूत करने के लिए व्यापक तैयारी की है। इसी का संकेत है कि चुनाव कार्यक्रम घोषित होने के तुरंत बाद ही पार्टी ने 144 उम्मीदवारों की पहली सूची जारी कर दी, जिससे साफ है कि बीजेपी इस चुनाव को लेकर पूरी रणनीति के साथ मैदान में उतरी है।

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its first list of candidates for the West Bengal Assembly elections. This list includes the names of a total of 144 candidates. The party has fielded Suvendu Adhikari from Nandigram and Bhawanipur, while Paritosh Das has been nominated for the Alidwarpur seat.
