I was 20 years old and I tried so many times to travel solo and kept being rejected by destiny (maybe the universe was trying to protect me, who knows?)

The first time, I was supposed to go to Moldova but I missed my flight and didn't know I had to buy a visa. Then, the second time, I was so happy that I got on the plane and I was already at the Ukraine airport when I found out that I had to turn back around because I thought I could buy a visa on arrival but it was during the pandemic and they weren't doing it anymore. I had to sleep on the cold airport chairs and use my spare clothes as a makeshift blanket.

After hundreds were spent and tears being shed, I finally achieved my dream of going to another country alone and with my own hard-earned money. I didn't plan an itinerary because I didn't expect to get through the airport. It was so spontaneous but god was it so fun. At the moment, I was stressed and scared out of my mind but everything worked out
